Chai Adda Kolkata

Kolkata (Calcutta), literally called "The City of Joy".
Chai Adda is a kind of informal gathering where people from different ages and background comes together to discuss many things, from lighter to serious talks. Without chai the adda is impossible when people of Kolkata having adda, chai is necessary.

The city of Kolkata is not smooth and easy, it is full of crowded, chaos and hustle around the city, but their great joy within the city.
One of the great things about the city is the Chai. Kolkata is the tea capital of India. Every time is tea time in India and love for the tea is immense in for the people of Kolkata. Back in 1920, vendors set up their shop with stoves and kettle to serve tea. But in 1930, it started booming in major cities, all over India.
Kolkata roadside tea maker is an institute in itself. By walking around, we will get fresh tea in a cup of tea(chai), it is mostly served in a clay cup. It has a long tradition of environment freely clay cups.

Most people tend to start their morning after having a cup of tea (chai). Tea has become an integral part of India's tea culture. Consumptions of tea have always been important in Kolkata and it will continue to strong significance.
Over a while, there are great changes in tea. Earlier, it was simply made with hot water, sugar and tea leaves. But, their ramshackle assemblages of pots and pans bearing tea, sugar, buffalo milk.
Tea stalls to be common in Kolkata, with one stationed at every nook and corner of the narrow streets. Even in some small stall different spies and flavor are added to enhance the taste for the younger generation, who loves variety the most, The dusty pink clay cups bring its flavor to the drink.

Chai is all time beverages and its very much refreshing. There are many mobile tea stalls in every by-lane of Kolkata. However, some of the places have earned recognition over time with its quality among the tea-loving crowds of the city. Whenever we remember this city, the sight of people sipping tea from clay cups surely pops in our memory.
